Marble Jar

The first time I handed the app to my boys they built their own jars. Excellent! I thought. But by day two I learned this was NOT the use case I was aiming for as the younger one was brought to tears as his older brother flaunted his superior marble count. Youch.

I quickly learned that setting up jars where they can work together to fill them brought about the culture of collaboration that I was hoping for. The “shiny clean bathroom jar”, “morning routine jar” and “art” jar all afforded the boys the chance to point our each other’s successes. Look at “leo- ardo-davinci’s” painting! I think he should get a marble in the art jar!

So put your selves together. We sink or swim like that as a family after all…
