Our original design had the goal automatically printed above the jar as the jar name. Early users (thing one and thing two) insisted on having their own names on the jar. For my own jars I often liked to name them in shorthand, not with a full goal, so we opted for flexibility. Hopefully most of you find conventions that work well for your family.
